There are three interesting routes from  Malaga to Ronda:

Via the Sierra de las Nieves:

The shortest, but also the curviest and most beautiful route, 113 km

2 hours trip (without stops), via  387 and 366.

See the pictures below

Via Ardales:

Mostly quiet and curve less street. The fastest trip: In about one hour you reach Ronda via the 357 and 367.

Along storage-lakes and sporadic white villages.

Via San Pedro:

take the coastal highway along to  Torremolinos, Marbesa and Marbella. Use the 340 to San Pedro, then enter the mountains via the 376 to  Ronda. About 1,5 hours trip.
Loads of Costa del Sol and sporadic white villages.

The first white village: Mijas

All over orange trees...

After a short dead end...

Then preponderant uphill...

...along further white villages...

...heading the National reserve

Sierra de las Nieves

Just sporadic white villages...
